Chix with Stix – Monthly Knitting Group

Informal fun monthly get-together of knitters (or crocheters) with all levels of experience. Bring personal projects, learn new techniques, become inspired and enjoy a relaxed gathering of crafters. Summer Reading Club 2013 – DIG INTO READING!
June 3 through August 6
This year’s Summer Reading Club: Dig into Reading! is packed with exciting performers and programs! This 9 week program will feature reading activities, with programs for children preschool age through 6th grade. Magic, Science, Zoo America and many other wonderful events are planned, with a family picnic rounding out the fun. Register online starting June 3. All programs sponsored by Friends of Fredricksen & Friends of East Pennsboro Branch, Enola Sportsmans Association and a memorial donation in honor of volunteer Ashley Dietrich.

Pop-In Weekly Afternoon Matinees at the Library
Thursdays at 1 pm
Children can visit the library on Thursdays and enjoy a G or PG movie for free at 1 pm. Call the library for movie listing. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Friends of East Pennsboro Weekly Book Sales
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3 pm
Book sales will be held on the second floor of East Pennsboro Township Municipal Building. All proceeds benefit the library and are in addition to the 3rd Friday book sales.
Lemonade Promenade Encore
Saturday, June 8 from 12 noon to 4 pm
Visit the East Pennsboro Library as one of the stops on the Historical Society of East Pennsboro’s Lemonade Promenade. Enjoy a glass of lemonade as you learn about the library and the building in which it is housed. For more information contact the library or the Historical Society.

Teen DIY: Hobbit Party - If You Like It, Don't Put a Ring On It

Delve Beneath the Earth to learn the ways of Hobbits and Dwarves. Your choice DIY projects: The One Ring, Hobbit feet, Dwarf beards and much more. Hobbit snacks and special prizes await the brave of heart. Please bring one pair of tan/skin colored knit socks if you plan to make Hobbit feet. Science with John Hadfield!

A visually unique presentation of science - utilizing the skills of juggling, comedy, balancing, magic, and music.
